Refund policy

At PackedBoxs, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which products may be returned and refunded, in accordance with European consumer protection laws.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Distance Selling Law)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you or a third party designated by you receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Your name

  • The product(s) you wish to return

You will then receive return instructions and the return address.


2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the product must:

  • be unused and unworn

  • be complete and clean

  • be returned in the original packaging

  • include all accessories, labels, and seals

Products that show signs of use, damage, or missing parts may not be eligible for a refund.


3. Mystery Boxes – Special Conditions

Some products sold by PackedBoxs are mystery boxes. A mystery box is a product where the contents are unknown in advance and where the surprise element is an essential part of the purchase agreement.

For mystery boxes the following rules apply:

  • The right of withdrawal only applies if the mystery box and all internal packaging remain completely sealed.

  • Once the seal is broken or the box is opened, the right of return no longer applies.

This is because:

  • the original state of the product cannot be restored

  • the surprise element is permanently lost

  • the commercial value of the product becomes zero

If an opened mystery box is returned, we reserve the right to:

  • refuse the return, or

  • apply a 100% value reduction, meaning no refund will be issued.

This policy is in accordance with Article 6:230s of the Dutch Civil Code regarding depreciation after use.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • opened mystery boxes

  • products with broken seals

  • personalized or custom-made products

  • products returned damaged, used, or incomplete

  • products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons


5. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Return shipping costs will only be reimbursed if:

  • the product arrived damaged, or

  • we made an error in your order.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for lost return shipments.


6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • the refund will be processed within 14 days

  • refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase

We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or proof of shipment, whichever occurs first.


7. Loss of Value

You are only liable for loss of value if the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

For mystery boxes, opening the packaging or breaking the seal results in 100% loss of value.


8. Returns Without Registration

Returns that are:

  • not registered in advance

  • sent without postage

  • not compliant with the conditions in this policy

may be:

  • refused,

  • returned to the sender at the sender's expense, or

  • held temporarily until instructions are received.


9. Unclaimed Returns

If a product is returned incorrectly and the customer wishes to have it sent back again, the customer must pay the shipping costs.

If we do not receive payment or instructions within 14 days after notification, we reserve the right to:

  • dispose of or destroy the item, without compensation.
